Kingsbury School:

Here is a more detailed description of the workshop:
In August 2006, Congress approved and the President signed into law a
considerable expansion of the federal conservation tax incentive for
conservation easement donations. This action allows modest income donors
to receive greater credit for donating a valuable conservation easement
on property they own.
Another aspect of the new law is that it dramatically extends the tax
benefit available to qualifying corporations and for qualifying farmers
and ranchers. All this means greater potential for protecting much more
land through conservation easements.
At this time, the new incentives only apply for easements donated in 2006
and 2007. To learn more about the new expanded tax incentives please
attend our informal presentation and discussion at Kingsbury School.
